The President of the University of Ninevah, Professor Dr. Osama Ismail Al-Mashhadani, received the National Digital Youth Team, one of the active teams operating under the Supreme Council for Youth, as part of the university’s support for youth initiatives specializing in digital transformation and modern technologies.
During the meeting, the University President was briefed on a detailed presentation delivered by team members regarding the nature of their activities within government institutions, particularly in the fields of cybersecurity, information security, and information technology (IT), as well as the team’s role in promoting digital awareness and protecting digital infrastructure.
Professor Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani praised the team’s efforts, emphasizing the importance of employing specialized youth capabilities in serving state institutions and affirming the University of Nineveh’s readiness to support quality initiatives that contribute to strengthening digital transformation and building a secure digital environment.
At the conclusion of the meeting, team members were honored with certificates of appreciation in recognition of their efforts and contributions, in the presence of expert Qasim Najeeb Al-Marsoumi, Head of the Administrative Board of Harvest of Light Foundation for Education Development, and Professor Dr. Asaad Faisal Al-Omran, a member of the foundation. This step reflects the integration of academic and community efforts in supporting innovation and youth empowerment.
This visit comes within the vision of the University of Ninevah aimed at strengthening partnerships with youth and technological initiatives and supporting projects that contribute to sustainable development and digital transformation in the province.
