Under the patronage and in the presence of Professor Dr. Osama Ismail Al-Mashhadani, President of the University of Ninevah, and with the follow-up of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Jaafar Ramadan Mohammed, the activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) were inaugurated on campus as part of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week program. The event was attended by the President of the Nineveh Bar Association, a representative of the Nineveh Chamber of Commerce, as well as a number of academic figures, students, and individuals interested in entrepreneurship.
The opening ceremony included speeches emphasizing the importance of fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation within the university environment, as well as the university’s role in supporting entrepreneurial ideas and transforming them into productive projects contributing to economic and social development.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, guests and participants were honored in appreciation of their support for entrepreneurial activities. This was followed by the inauguration of the Innovation Exhibition by the University President, which showcased a range of creative projects and ideas developed by University of Nineveh students, reflecting their scientific capabilities and innovative potential.
These activities come within the vision of the University of Ninevah aimed at strengthening community partnerships, supporting entrepreneurship and innovation, and creating a university environment that encourages creativity and excellence.
