President of University of Ninevah Receives Visiting Academic from King’s College London and Discusses Prospects for Scientific Cooperation

The President of the University of Ninevah, Professor Dr. Osama Ismail Al-Mashhadani, received in his office Professor Dr. Mundhir Hussein Al-Kadhimi, faculty member at King’s College London – United Kingdom, on the sidelines of his visit to the College of Nursing to deliver a scientific lecture.

During the meeting—attended by Professor Dr. Radwan Hussein Ibrahim, Dean of the College of Nursing, along with several faculty members—discussions focused on ways to strengthen academic and scientific cooperation between the University of Ninevah and international universities. The talks addressed benefiting from well-established global experiences in quality assurance, academic accreditation, curriculum development, as well as supporting joint research programs and academic exchange initiatives.

The University President emphasized the institution’s commitment to a strategic and well-considered openness toward international academic institutions in a manner that elevates the standard of higher education and aligns with global benchmarks. He also commended the significant role played by Iraqi academics working in leading international universities and highlighted the importance of leveraging their expertise to further develop the local educational environment.

For his part, the visiting professor expressed his pleasure at visiting the University of Ninevah, praising the efforts made to advance colleges and teaching laboratories. He affirmed his readiness to provide academic consultation and to build research and training partnerships that would support the University’s journey toward academic excellence.
