As part of its ongoing efforts to disseminate scientific culture and enhance community awareness of the role of education in achieving sustainable development, the Scientific Affairs Department at University of Ninevah organized an awareness campaign within the University Presidency, during which educational brochures were distributed to staff members and visitors.
The brochures highlighted the importance of engaging youth in designing modern educational systems and emphasized the need to align educational outcomes with the demands of the digital era and the labor market. They also shed light on the role of education in developing skills, fostering creative thinking, and supporting social inclusion.
The campaign further focused on promoting the concepts of sustainable development and their connection to quality education, health, innovation, and the reduction of social inequalities, in line with global trends adopted by international organizations, foremost among them UNESCO, in supporting quality education and building knowledge-based societies.
This initiative comes within the framework of the University’s commitment to fostering an informed educational environment and encouraging students and staff to actively contribute to the development of the educational process and community service, thereby strengthening the role of the academic institution as a key driver of development and human capacity building.
