College of Pharmacy at the University of Ninevah Organizes a Workshop Entitled “Scientific Research Methodology for Students”

As part of its strategic plan aimed at enhancing research skills and refining students’ scientific competencies, and within the activities of the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit, the College of Pharmacy at the University of Ninevah organized a scientific workshop on Thursday, February 26, 2026, entitled “Scientific Research Methodology for Students.” This initiative reflects the college’s commitment to preparing a qualified academic generation equipped with solid research tools and capable of competing in scientific forums.

The workshop was delivered by:

Lecturer Dr. Abeer Mansour Abdulrasool

The workshop covered several key scientific themes, including:
• The theoretical foundations of scientific research and its importance in advancing knowledge.
• Mechanisms for formulating the research problem and constructing objectives and hypotheses.
• Selecting and designing appropriate research methodologies, as well as methods of data collection and analysis.
• Principles of sound academic writing and proper scientific documentation.
• Research ethics and standards of academic integrity.

The workshop witnessed distinguished and active student participation, reflecting their eagerness to develop their research capabilities and benefit from the training opportunities provided by the college.

This activity aligns with the directions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in supporting academic quality standards and promoting a culture of scientific research as a fundamental pillar in building reputable educational institutions.
