University of Ninevah Witnesses the Defense of a Higher Diploma Thesis at the College of Electronics Engineering

The University of Ninevah / College of Electronics Engineering, University of Ninevah witnessed the defense of a Higher Diploma thesis by the student Jehan Hisham Mohammed Zaki in the Department of Electronic Engineering.

The thesis was entitled:
“Enhanced Speed Control of the Induction Machine Based on a Multi-level Inverter.”

The study addressed the development of speed control methods for induction machines through the use of multi-level inverters, which play an important role in reducing harmonic distortions and improving the quality of electrical power. This contributes to enhancing the operational efficiency of motors used in various industrial applications.

The research aimed to improve the response of speed control systems, increase operational efficiency, and reduce losses and harmonic distortions by employing modern techniques in power electronics and control systems. These approaches help achieve more stable and reliable performance in complex industrial environments.

The examination committee consisted of:
• Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Ahmed Salama – Chair
• Assist. Prof. Dr. Sahar Lazim Qadoori – Member
• Assist. Prof. Dr. Harith Mohammed Ahmed Al-Badrani – Member and Supervisor

The committee commended the scientific efforts made in preparing the thesis and highlighted that its findings may contribute to the development of technologies in the fields of power electronics and control engineering.

We wish the student and the members of the examination committee continued success and achievement.
