As part of the scientific cooperation between Iraqi universities, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Ahmed Salama, a lecturer at the College of Electronics Engineering at the University of Ninevah, chaired the defense committee of a master’s thesis at the University of Mosul / College of Engineering / Department of Electrical Engineering on March 5, 2026.
The thesis, entitled “Design of an Energy Harvesting System with Improved Matching Circuit Characteristics for Wearable Sensors,” focused on developing a system for harvesting radio frequency (RF) energy at 2.4 GHz, while improving conversion efficiency, reducing the impact of human tissue, and enhancing the performance of the matching circuit and rectifier under low-power conditions.
This participation reflects the active role of the University of Ninevah in supporting scientific research and strengthening academic cooperation in the fields of engineering, energy, and modern technologies.
