A Faculty Member from the College of Law Participates in a Master’s Thesis Defense at Al-Hamdaniya University

Assistant Professor Dr. Saddam Yousif Abdul-Jaghifi, a faculty member at the College of Law – University of Ninevah, participated on Thursday, April 2, 2026, as a member of the master’s thesis defense committee at the College of Education for Humanities, Al-Hamdaniya University. The thesis was submitted by researcher Maher Adnan Mahmoud Jasim and was entitled:
“Russian Foreign Policy in the Caspian Sea (2000–2018).”

The thesis presented an analysis of Russian foreign policy toward the Caspian Sea during a pivotal period in international relations, focusing on the political, strategic, and historical dimensions associated with this issue. It highlighted a noticeable shift in Russia’s policy orientation, characterized by increased assertiveness and efforts to restore its status as a major global power. This transformation was clearly reflected in its political, diplomatic, security, and economic approaches to the Caspian region.
