University of Ninevah Continues Its Preparations for Participation in the National University Championship for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (NURAI 2026)

The University of Ninevah continues its preparations for participation in the National University Championship for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications (NURAI 2026) by completing the interview and evaluation process for teams and projects from various colleges of the university. The aim is to select the most outstanding and qualified projects to compete in the championship.

In this context, Dr. Lubna Thunoon Ahmadi, Head of the Artificial Intelligence Department and the University Coordinator for the championship, completed a series of interviews with participating teams from the College of Information Technology. The interviews were conducted in the presence of team members and their supervisors, during which the submitted projects and ideas were evaluated, and their scientific and technical aspects were discussed, along with their compliance with the championship’s criteria and participation requirements.

These interviews follow the evaluation sessions previously conducted for teams from the College of Engineering under the supervision of the college’s championship coordinator, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Yaseen. This effort forms part of the University of Nineveh’s ongoing commitment to ensuring a distinguished and effective participation in this national championship, which is considered one of the most prominent events supporting innovation and creativity in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence.
