University of Ninevah Participates in a Specialized Workshop on the Quality of Bologna Process Implementation

As part of the University of Ninevah’s commitment to enhancing the quality of academic education and keeping pace with the latest international standards in higher education development, the University participated in the specialized workshop entitled “The Quality of Bologna Process Implementation in Iraqi Universities: Reality, Challenges, and Opportunities for Development.” The workshop was organized by Al-Noor University in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Office of the Deputy Minister for Scientific Research, and featured the international expert Professor Burak Arikan from the Republic of Türkiye.

Representing the University of Ninevah at the workshop were Professor Dr. Ridwan Hussein Ibrahim, Dean of the College of Nursing; Professor Dr. Manar Kashmoula, Dean of the College of Information Technology; and Assistant Professor Dr. Bilal Alaa Al-Din Al-Laila, Assistant Dean of the College of Electronics Engineering for Scientific Affairs. They actively participated in the workshop sessions, which focused on mechanisms for improving the implementation of the Bologna Process, promoting a culture of quality assurance and academic accreditation, and exploring leading international experiences and best practices in this field.

The University of Ninevah’s participation reflects its ongoing commitment to developing its academic programs, enhancing the quality of its educational outcomes, and strengthening scientific cooperation with Iraqi universities, in line with the strategic directions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research toward advancing the higher education system in accordance with international standards.
