Prof. Dr. Ridwan Hussein Ibrahim, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Ninevah, participated on the morning of Wednesday, September 2, 2026, in the defense of the Master’s thesis submitted by postgraduate student Waleed Sheet Khalid Ali at the College of Nursing, University of Mosul. The thesis was entitled:
“Parental Satisfaction with Sustainable Nursing Services in Pediatric Wards in Mosul Hospitals.”
The thesis aimed to assess the level of parental satisfaction with sustainable nursing services provided in pediatric wards in Mosul hospitals, and to identify the quality of nursing services provided to children and their impact on parental satisfaction, thereby contributing to the development of pediatric nursing care and the improvement of healthcare service quality.
Prof. Dr. Ridwan Hussein Ibrahim, College of Nursing, University of Ninevah, Community Health Nursing, chaired the defense committee. The committee included Prof. Dr. Mohammed Haider Musa, College of Nursing, University of Duhok, Pediatric Nursing, and Assistant Prof. Dr. Rayan Ibrahim Khalil, College of Nursing, University of Mosul, Pediatric Nursing, as members. Assistant Prof. Dr. Luay Amjad Mahmoud, College of Nursing, University of Mosul, Pediatric Nursing, served as a member and supervisor.
Following an extensive academic discussion of the thesis, including its objectives, themes, and findings, the committee announced its acceptance, confirming that the student had fulfilled the requirements for the award of a Master’s degree.
