On Monday, March 17, 2025, Asst.Lecturer Sabrin Mahmoud Abbas from the College of Information Technology earned her Ph.D. from the College of Computer Science and Mathematics – Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Mosul. Her dissertation, titled
“Several Important Developments in Memoryless and Preconditioned Conjugate Gradient Algorithms in Unconstrained Optimization,” was supervised by Prof. Dr. Abbas Younis Elias and Prof. Dr. Mayson Malallah Aziz.
The examination committee consisted of the following members:
