In line with the directives of the President of the University of Ninevah, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, to strengthen the university’s academic and research profile,
Asst. Prof. Dr. Alaa Saad Hamed, a faculty member at the University of Ninevah, has published a scientific research paper in the Iraqi National Journal of Earth Sciences, which is indexed in Scopus. The research is titled:
“Sulphates Suggested Guide for Groundwater Quality for Irrigation in the Eastern Regions of Nineveh Governorate.”
This scientific achievement represents a qualitative addition to the university’s research efforts and aligns with the goals of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6—clean water and sanitation—by promoting better management of water resources and enhancing the sustainability of groundwater use for irrigation in the eastern regions of Nineveh Governorate. This work contributes directly to serving the community.
It is also worth noting that Dr. Alaa Saad Hamed has been selected as a scientific reviewer for a Q4-ranked international journal published by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with the Hashemite University. This journal, indexed in Scopus, focuses on research in the fields of Earth and Environmental Sciences. Her selection came after a review of her academic and research qualifications.
