Under the patronage of the President of the University of Ninevah, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, and with the follow-up of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Jaafar Ramadan Mohammed, and the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ammar Saadoun Hamed, the Department of Media and Government Communication, in cooperation with the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education for Humanities – University of Wasit, organized the Language and Sustainability Forum under the slogan:
“Arabic Language and Sustainable Development: Integrating Knowledge and Building Society.”
The forum was attended by a distinguished group of professors and researchers from the Universities of Ninevah and Wasit, including Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Hamoud Arrak Al-Quraishi, Dean of the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Wasit, and Prof. Dr. Jabbar Ahlil Al-Zaidi, Head of the Arabic Language Department at the same college.
The forum activities included scientific sessions discussing the cognitive and cultural role of the Arabic language in achieving sustainable development goals, as well as its contribution to building societal awareness and strengthening scientific research paths, with productive academic engagement from participants.
The forum concluded with the reading of the scientific session recommendations and honoring participating researchers in appreciation of their academic efforts and research contributions.
