“A master thesis at university of Ninevah under the subject of “Investigation and Characterization of Non-Orthogonal multiple Acess over mm-Wave Channel “

The Department of Communication Engineering at the College of Electronics discussed the master thesis named “Investigating and Characterisation of Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access over mm-Wave Channel” for the master student Ahmed Attallah Salih on 18/9/2023 with the presence of the dean of the College of Electronics Engineering Prof.Dr. Khalid Khaleel Mohammed and his assistant for the scientific affairs assist. Prof. Dr.Bilal Alaaldeen Jabir.

The research aimed to study the different ways and techniques to improve multi-user systems in the next generations of wireless communication networks and in order to serve many users with a high-quality service it is suggested to make a system of MIMO-NOMA of the range of uncontested Millimeter wave to increase the capacity of the wireless channels to meet the needs of the future communication generations that need a very high data.

The imitation was done by using MATLAB to design a network that satisfies the quality of services to increase the speed of data and reduce the likelihood of error, and potential disruption of services. The discussion committee consisted of the following members:
  1. Asst. Prof. Dr. Dhyaa Mohammed Ali /University of Ninevah / College of Electronics Engineering/Chairman.
  2. Asst. Prof. Dr. Saad Ahmed Ayob / University of Mosul/ College of Engineering/ member
  3. Asst. Prof. Dr. Safwan Hafeedh Younis / University of Ninevah / College of Electronics Engineering/ member.
  4. Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdulrahman Ahmed / University of Ninevah / College of Electronics Engineering./ member and supervisor.
