The professor in the Basic Nursing Sciences Branch in the College of Nursing the Lecturer Dr. Nadya Hussain Alhyali in cooperation with the assistant Prof. Dr. Saba Abdulsalam has recorded five bacterial strains for the first time in Iraq belonging to Streptomyces genus in the international center for Biotechnology.The bacterial sequences are isolated from Mosul’s sand and genetically diagnosed depending on a study of the 16sRNA gene sequence. Last but not least we hope our university staff a further success and prosperity.
