Following the directives of the President of the University of Ninevah, Professor Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, regarding openness toward Iraqi universities and the enhancement of joint scientific cooperation, the College of Electronics Engineering at the University of Ninevah signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the College of Engineering at Al-Noor University. This initiative aims to strengthen academic partnerships and promote the exchange of scientific expertise between the two institutions.
The MoU was signed by:
• Professor Dr. Khalid Khalil Mohammed – Dean of the College of Electronics Engineering / University of Ninevah
• Mr. Saad Ali Al-Taan – Representative of the College of Engineering / Al-Noor University
The memorandum includes several areas of cooperation, notably:
• Coordination in developing curricula and course contents, and working toward unifying programs in corresponding engineering disciplines.
• Exchange of scientific and academic expertise among faculty members, and the organization of joint lectures and workshops.
• Implementation of joint research projects and promotion of collaborative publications across various engineering fields.
• Joint supervision of graduation projects for students in corresponding departments, supporting the development of practical and research skills.
• Cooperation in utilizing research laboratories and scientific facilities available at both institutions, enhancing educational and research processes.
• Organization of joint scientific activities including seminars, discussion panels, training courses, and specialized conferences.
• Strengthening student training programs and developing students’ capabilities in practical and technical areas.
This memorandum reflects the University of Ninevah’s ongoing efforts to enhance strategic partnerships with Iraqi universities, contributing to the development of the academic and research environment, improving the quality of engineering education, and achieving scientific integration between educational institutions to serve the advancement of higher education in Iraq
