As part of the University of Nineveh’s efforts to develop students’ skills and enhance their professional readiness, the Technology Incubator Unit at the College of Law held an awareness lecture today, Sunday, March 29, 2026, entitled “College of Law Outcomes: The Successful Lawyer,” targeting the college’s students.
The lecture was delivered by the Head of the Technology Incubator Unit, Dr. Jassim Khudair, who highlighted the key foundations for preparing a law graduate capable of achieving success and excellence in the workplace. This is accomplished through combining solid academic grounding with practical skills.
The lecture addressed several key topics, including the importance of developing effective communication skills, legal analysis, and legal drafting, as well as the necessity of keeping pace with technological advancements, which are playing an increasingly significant role in contemporary legal practice.
The lecturer emphasized the importance of making the most of the years of study in building a well-rounded legal personality, noting that excellence in the legal profession is not limited to academic achievement alone, but also requires commitment, practical experience, and openness to professional expertise.
The lecture witnessed notable engagement from students, who raised questions and inquiries regarding career prospects after graduation. These were addressed in a way that enhanced their awareness of the nature of the profession and its requirements.
This activity is part of a series of events organized by the Technology Incubator Unit at the College of Law, aimed at qualifying students and enabling them to actively engage in the labor market, thereby contributing to the preparation of competent legal professionals capable of creativity and excellence.
