As part of the activities of the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit and in implementation of its annual plan, the College of Nursing at the University of Ninevah held a specialized training workshop entitled “Intensive Care, Nursing, and Critical Cases” on Monday, October 20, 2025.
The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Fares Abdulghani. It was directed toward the college’s students and graduates with the aim of enhancing their knowledge and skills in dealing with patients in critical condition, as well as highlighting the vital role of the nursing staff in providing comprehensive care within intensive care units. The workshop also emphasized the importance of quick response and accuracy when handling emergency cases.
The workshop aimed to develop the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of students and graduates in the field of advanced nursing and intensive care, thereby preparing qualified nursing personnel capable of managing various critical cases in healthcare institutions.
The session witnessed active participation and engagement from attendees, featuring scientific discussions and exchange of experiences, which contributed to enriching participants’ understanding of the latest nursing practices in intensive care and the importance of prompt and precise responses to critical situations.
