Under the patronage and presence of the Dean of the College of Nursing, Professor Dr. Radwan Hussein Ibrahim, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit organized a scientific lecture on Wednesday morning, October 1, 2025, entitled “Complementary and Alternative Medicine in Cancer Care: Myths, Evidence, and Future Directions.”
The lecture was delivered by Specialist University Nurse Omnia Ahmed Misbah in the college’s discussion hall, with the attendance of the college’s faculty members and a number of students.
The lecture shed light on the role of complementary and alternative medicine in improving the quality of care provided to cancer patients, while discussing key concepts and future trends supported by scientific evidence. The session was distinguished by rich scientific discussions that enriched the topic and contributed to enhancing the participants’ awareness.
