Under the patronage of the Office of the Prime Minister and the National Committee for Community Awareness and Guidance, and in cooperation with the Government Communication Team,
the College of Pharmacy at the University of Ninevah organized a distinguished awareness seminar titled “Youth Issues and Their Role in Decision-Making” on Thursday, October 9, 2025. The event targeted college students with the aim of enhancing their awareness of their constructive role in society and empowering them to actively participate in shaping the future.
The seminar was presented by Lecturer Dhafar Hisham from the College of Pharmacy and certified international trainer Ms. Sally Saif Al-Din from the Ninevah Directorate of Education. The discussion focused on key topics, including the main challenges facing youth today, ways to strengthen their self-confidence, and the importance of involving them in decision-making processes that contribute to sustainable development and the building of a conscious and responsible generation.
The seminar was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Hassan Al-Diwachi, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, along with a group of faculty members and students, who actively engaged in the discussions and constructive interventions that enriched the session.
At the conclusion of the event, Dr. Al-Diwachi presented certificates of appreciation to the speakers in recognition of their outstanding efforts and valuable contributions to the success of the seminar and the achievement of its awareness goals.
This seminar is part of a series of continuous activities organized by the College of Pharmacy at the University of Ninevah, reaffirming its mission to support youth potential and build a conscious university generation capable of making positive contributions to society and the nation.
