As part of the scientific activities organized by the College of Pharmacy – University of Ninevah for the academic year 2025–2026, and with the aim of enhancing learning skills among first-year students, the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Medical Physics Laboratory held a series of scientific discussion sessions for first-year students within the Medical Physics course. The sessions took place on Sunday, January 18, 2026.
The sessions included the distribution of various scientific topics among the students, a number of whom participated in research, preparation, presentation, and managing discussions within the laboratory. This provided students with the opportunity to apply knowledge in an interactive manner and to develop their presentation and scientific communication skills.
Students expressed their appreciation of this educational experience, as it offered direct interaction and learning methods different from the traditional approach. The activity aims to raise students’ scientific and research awareness, enhance their sense of responsibility in managing discussion sessions, and diversify teaching and learning methods in line with modern educational approaches.
