The opening day of the conference began with a speech delivered by the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Jaafar Ramadan Mohammed, followed by a speech from the Dean of the College of Law, emphasizing the importance of discussing student research in such academic forums, as it plays a crucial role in enhancing students’ research skills and capacities.
Following the speeches, honorary shields were presented by the college to both the Vice President for Scientific Affairs and the Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ammar Saadoun Hamed, in appreciation of their participation and continuous support.
The opening ceremony also featured a mock trial activity titled “Commitment to Traffic Laws”, presented by a dedicated group of students under the direct supervision of Dr. Maher Hussein Al-Abbadi, faculty member in the Public Law Department.
The scientific sessions of the conference included discussions of several student research papers in the field of Private Law, focusing on various studies in Civil Law and Personal Status Law.
The sessions concluded with several recommendations and observations aimed at achieving the best academic and legal outcomes.
