In Tribute to the Pioneers: President of the University of Ninevah Visits the Founder of Intensive Care in Mosul

Professor Dr. Osama Ismail Al-Mashhadani, President of the University of Ninevah, accompanied by Professor Dr. Muzahim Al-Khayyat and a number of faculty members, paid a visit to Professor and physician Dr. Abdulilah Ahmed Al-Jawadi, one of the most prominent figures in medicine in Mosul and Iraq, and among the pioneers who played a significant role in establishing the scientific foundations of medical practice in the city.

The visit came in recognition of Dr. Al-Jawadi’s pioneering contributions, particularly his role in establishing intensive care units in Mosul, as well as his academic and professional efforts in training generations of physicians.

Professor Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani emphasized that the visit reflects the values of academic and human loyalty upheld by the academic community, expressing respect and appreciation for pioneering scholars. He also stressed the importance of preserving the scientific legacy of pioneers who have made significant contributions to serving society and supporting the city’s health and educational institutions.
