In line with the directives of the President of the University of Ninevah, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, to strengthen openness toward Iraqi universities and enhance scientific cooperation, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Electronics Engineering, Prof. Dr. Khalid Khalil Mohammed, the joint examination was conducted between the Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Ninevah and its counterpart at Al-Ma’moon University, based on the agreement signed between the two institutions.
The examination was held simultaneously at both universities on Tuesday, December 2, where second-year students took the Medical Electronics I exam, while third-year students sat for the Physiology I exam.
The Assistant President of the University of Ninevah for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Jaafar Ramadan Mohammed, attended part of the examination to review the examination process and ensure the implementation of academic twinning standards according to the joint plans between the two universities.
Supervision of the examination at Al-Ma’moon University was carried out by Prof. Dr. Younis Mahmood Aboush and Prof. Dr. Diaa Mohammed Ali from the Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Ninevah, ensuring unified procedures and the highest level of accuracy in managing the joint examinations.
This initiative comes within the framework of supporting academic twinning programs between the two universities and strengthening the quality of education and scientific research, contributing to elevating the students’ academic level and promoting the exchange of expertise among faculty members.
