A master’s thesis at the College of Electronics Engineering, University of Ninevah, presented on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, by researcher Nazek Hussein Ibrahim, focused on
“Designing Large Planar Antenna Arrays Using Clustered Configurations.”
The thesis explored the design of various shapes of planar antenna arrays using clustered configurations and optimal genetic algorithms.
The aim of the study was to develop new configurations for these antennas, characterized by high efficiency and practical ease of implementation, to meet the demands of modern wireless communication systems, including 5G and 6G technologies.
The thesis concluded that utilizing different clustered configurations in antenna array design represents a promising research area, paving the way for new advancements in the field.
The discussion committee was chaired by Emeritus Prof. Dr. Khalil Hassan Sayed Murai and included the following members:
1. Asst. Prof. Dr. Yasser Ahmed Fadhel (Member)
2. Lecturer Dr. Adham Moan Salih (Member)
The thesis was supervised by Prof. Dr. Jafar Ramadan Mohammed, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, and Asst. Lecturer Dr. Ahmed Jamil Abdulqader.
We extend our best wishes to the researcher and the discussion committee for continued success and achievements.
