President of the University of Ninevah, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, Meets First-Year Students at the College of Medicine

The College of Medicine at the University of Ninevah welcomed the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, during his visit to the college and his meeting with first-year students at the beginning of their new academic year. The visit was attended by the Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mu’min Junaid Al-Dabooni, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Ali Abbas, and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Shakir.

During the meeting, the University President warmly welcomed the new students, emphasizing the importance of this foundational stage in shaping their scientific and professional personalities. He also highlighted the university’s commitment to providing an integrated educational environment that supports their academic journey and helps them achieve their aspirations in the field of medicine.

The Dean of the College further affirmed that the College of Medicine—with all its departments, academic staff, and administrative units—stands fully ready to support students at the beginning of their academic path, noting that the doors of the dean’s office and all departments are open for guidance and assistance.
