Promising Academic Collaboration Between the College of Pharmacy at the University of Ninevah and Its Counterpart at UiTM University in Malaysia

As part of the implementation of the scientific cooperation agreement signed between the University of Ninevah and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in Malaysia,
a specialized virtual lecture was held on the morning of wednesday, June 18, 2025, delivered by a group of Malaysian academics to the staff of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Ninevah.

The lecture focused on the concept of programmatic accreditation for pharmacy colleges from a Malaysian perspective. It highlighted the academic standards and procedures followed at UiTM University, in a step aimed at enhancing the quality of academic programs and fostering the exchange of expertise between the two institutions.

The session was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Maisar Al-Qutachi, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, along with the college’s faculty members, accreditation unit coordinators, the Director of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at the University of Ninevah, and a number of individuals interested in expanding the scope of academic cooperation.

This promising academic collaboration represents an important step toward exchanging knowledge and expertise, and opens new horizons for developing the educational programs of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Ninevah, with the goal of graduating well-qualified pharmacy professionals who are in line with global advancements.
