In a distinguished scientific achievement, a research team from the College of Information Technology at the University of Ninevah has published an advanced study entitled:
Unveiling Digital Drugs Through Artificial Intelligence: An Audio Feature Analysis Approach
The study was published in the International Journal of Intelligent Engineering & Systems, a Q2-ranked journal indexed in global Scopus databases.
The research team included:
• Lecturer. Dr. Karam Mohammed Mahdi Saleh
• Asst. Lecturer Abdulmajeed Ahmed Rifaat
• Eng. Abdulrahman Mohammed Hadi
The study aimed to develop an intelligent model based on artificial intelligence techniques to analyze audio signals and detect what are known as “digital drugs.” This is achieved by extracting audio features and accurately identifying abnormal patterns.
This research represents an advanced step toward understanding modern digital influences, with practical applications in the fields of cybersecurity and mental health, thereby strengthening the University of Ninevah’s presence in applied scientific research.
