In accordance with the directives of the President of the University of Ninevah, Professor Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, to strengthen openness to Iraqi universities and enhance joint scientific cooperation, the College of Electronics Engineering – University of Ninevah signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the College of Engineering – Al-Ma’moon University.
The memorandum was signed by Professor Dr. Khalid Khalil Mohammed, Dean of the College of Electronics Engineering, and Assistant Professor Mohammed Noori Majeed, Dean of the College of Engineering at Al-Ma’moon University.
The memorandum included several cooperation items, most notably:
1. Coordinating the development of curricula, academic content, and unifying the study plans in corresponding engineering specializations.
2. Exchanging scientific and academic expertise between the faculty members of both institutions, and holding joint lectures and workshops.
3. Implementing joint research projects and strengthening collaboration in scientific publishing across various engineering fields.
4. Joint supervision of graduation projects for students in corresponding departments, and supporting their practical and research skills.
5. Cooperation in utilizing laboratories, research labs, and scientific facilities available at both sides.
6. Organizing joint scientific activities, including seminars, discussion panels, training courses, and specialized conferences.
7. Enhancing student training programs and developing students’ applied and technical capabilities.
This memorandum comes as part of the University of Ninevah’s efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships with Iraqi universities, contributing to the development of the academic and research environment and improving the quality of engineering education.
