In accordance with the directives of the President of the University of Ninevah, Professor Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, and within the framework of strengthening ties between academic institutions and the health sector, as well as promoting the quality of health and educational services in the province,
a scientific cooperation agreement was signed on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, between the College of Pharmacy at the University of Nineveh and the Nineveh Health Directorate.
The delegation of the College of Pharmacy was headed by the Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Maisar Mohammed Ali Al-Qutachi, accompanied by the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hassan Saad Al-Diwachi, the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, Lect. Dr. Omar Thanoon, and Dr. Abeer Mansour. They were received by the Director General of the Nineveh Health Directorate, Pharmacist Dr. Delshad Ali Abdullah Al-Shankali.
The Dean of the College of Pharmacy stated that this agreement comes as a reinforcement of the principle of integration between academic education and practical application, contributing to the development of students’ skills and preparing them to enter the healthcare labor market with high competence.
For his part, Dr. Delshad Al-Shankali affirmed that this cooperation will serve as an important source for developing pharmaceutical competencies and supporting the health sector in Nineveh through the exchange of expertise and the implementation of joint training and research programs.
On the sidelines of the visit, the college delegation extended their congratulations to Dr. Delshad Al-Shankali on the occasion of his official appointment as Director General of the Nineveh Health Directorate. They presented him with a bouquet of flowers as an expression of appreciation and respect, wishing him continued success in serving the people of the province.
