The Center for Continuing Education at the University of Ninevah Organizes a Scientific Lecture on “Environmental Pollution and Its Risks”

Under the auspices of the President of the University of Ninevah, Professor Osama Ismail Al-Mashhadani, and in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Jaafar Ramadan Muhammad, along with a select group of professors and university staff.

The Training Division at the Center for Continuing Education at the University of Ninevah organized a scientific lecture on “Environmental Pollution and Its Risks” on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. The lecture was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Alaa Saad Hamed.

The lecture covered the definition of environmental pollution and its risks, highlighting the types of environmental pollution which are divided into two categories: natural pollution resulting from natural radioactive contamination, natural phenomena, and rocky and clay sources, and the second type of pollution resulting from human activities which includes industrial, agricultural, biological pollution, and other sources of pollution caused by human activities.

The lecture received significant interaction from the attendees, resulting in important recommendations aimed at reducing the harms of environmental pollution and creating a clean and sustainable environment. … And success is from Allah.
