The College of Medicine Holds Its Scientific Symposium Titled “what’s New in Medical Physiology”

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Asst. Prof. Dr. Moamen Junaid Al-Dabbouni, and in the presence of the Head of the Parliamentary Committee on Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Muzahim Al-Khayyat, the President of the University of Ninevah, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, and a distinguished group of faculty members,

The Department of Medical Physiology at the College of Medicine held its scientific symposium on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, under the title “What’s New in Medical Physiology.”

The symposium, chaired by Dr. Shaimaa Abdulhadi, included three scientific lectures as follows:
1. Prof. Dr. Qasim Saleh Al-Nuaimi – The General Principles of Antibiotics Use
2. Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid Ghanem Majeed – Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis
3. Lecturer Hiba Khalid Mohammed – Brain Rot

The symposium discussed recent developments in the field of medical physiology and the general principles of antibiotic use. It concluded with a set of recommendations aimed at keeping pace with the latest advances in medical physiology. Wishing the College of Medicine continued success and progress.
