As part of the activities of the Career Development and Follow-Up Division at the Presidency of the University of Ninevah, the Career Development Unit at the College of Pharmacy organized a specialized lecture entitled “The Role of Clinical Pharmacist in Hospital” on Sunday, October 5, 2025, in Hall (1A) at the college.
The lecture was attended by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Asst. Prof. Dr. Maisar Mohammed Ali Al-Qutachi, along with the associate deans, a number of faculty members, students, and graduates.
The lecture was delivered by Clinical Pharmacist Ibrahim Ismail Sado from the Nineveh Health Directorate. He discussed the vital role played by clinical pharmacists in hospitals and healthcare institutions, as well as their significant contribution to improving the quality of pharmaceutical care and ensuring patient safety.
The aim of the lecture was to enhance the skills and knowledge of students and graduates in the field of clinical pharmacy, strengthen their readiness to enter the labor market, and review the latest scientific developments in the specialties of hematology and oncology and the role of clinical pharmacists in monitoring these cases.
The session was distinguished by the active participation of attendees, whose valuable contributions enriched the discussion and reflected the students’ deep interest in their field of study and future careers.
At the end of the event, the Dean of the College presented a certificate of appreciation to the lecturer in recognition of his efforts to enrich the scientific knowledge of the college’s students.
