In the presence of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Asst. Prof. Dr. Maysar Mohammed Ali Al-Qutachi, along with faculty members and laboratory staff, the College of Pharmacy organized a workshop titled “Implementing the Guideline for Educational Laboratory Quality” on Sunday, November 17, 2024.
The workshop was presented by Asst. Lecturer Hiba Hatim Khattab and focused on how to apply the standards and guidelines outlined in the manual to ensure the highest levels of quality in educational laboratories, thereby contributing to improving both educational and research performance within the college.
The workshop also covered the national standards for good educational laboratories recognized globally and clarified the principles of good laboratory practices (GLP) to enhance the quality and accuracy of test data.
The main goal of the workshop was to implement the quality standards requirements for educational laboratories in accordance with the Iraqi Standards Guide for Laboratory Quality issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in 2022.
