Under the directives of the President of the University of Ninevah, Professor Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, and as part of the series of periodic lectures and the efforts of the Continuing Education Center to develop scientific and academic capabilities, the Continuing Education Center at our university held an online scientific lecture on Thursday evening, August 1, 2024, titled “Scientific Publishing Rules and International Classification Standards.”
The lecture was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Fawzi Al-Shukerji from the Technical College of Musayyib at Al-Furat Al-Awsat University.
In his lecture, the speaker reviewed the rules and steps of scientific publishing, highlighting the importance of the impact factor, explaining the databases of reputable global repositories, and indicating the criteria for discerning reputable journals to prevent researchers from falling into the traps of non-reputable and predatory journals.
The lecture witnessed interventions from participants, enriching the attendees with expertise in the fields of publishing, scientific research, and academia. We wish our staff continuous prosperity and progress.
