The Continuing Education Center at our university organized a training course titled “Solar Energy Systems”, delivered by Assistant Lecturer Sarah Khalid Nadhir from the Department of Graduate Studies. The course spanned two days and was attended by a number of university staff members.
The course covered several key topics, including:
• Understanding the fundamentals of solar energy and its residential applications,
• Identifying the components of a solar energy system and how to select and install them,
• Analyzing the economic and environmental feasibility of installing solar systems,
• Exploring the potential challenges and drawbacks of solar energy systems and how to address them.
This course is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness among its staff about the importance of clean energy and the need to adopt it in order to achieve sustainability and ensure a pollution-free environment.
