The Council of Ninevah University held its fifth session on Monday 30/12/2019 and the session was chaired by Prof Dr. Muzahm Al-Khyatt, President of the University and in the presence of members of the Council. The council discussed several issues related to students and academics and the need for joint cooperation between them to maintain the educational process.
The Council honored the former Director of the Construction and Projects Dept. Dr. Yunus Sharif Daoud with a certificate of appreciation and a letter of thanks and appreciation and a gift due for his great efforts in the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the university buildings, wishing him continued good luck.
A number of academics were honored for obtaining the H-Index values of 5 and larger, with a letter of thanks and appreciation and an appreciation certificate wishing them long time for excellence. This initiative comes as a support from the university president to the university academics to encourage them to publish in internationally recognized journals, and to develop their scientific research capabilities.
