The Department of Surgery at the College of Medicine, University of Ninevah, Conducts Final Practical Exam for Sixth-Year Students

With active participation from the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, a pediatric surgery consultant, and in the presence of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Asst. Prof. Dr. Moamen Junaid Al-Dabouni,
the Department of Surgery conducted the final practical OSCE exam for sixth-year medical students.

The exam included multiple stations covering various surgical specialties within the framework of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) system, designed to accurately and professionally assess students’ clinical skills.

The President of the University of Ninevah participated in the exam alongside the surgical department staff, closely observing students’ performance and the execution of the exam stations. He praised the tremendous efforts made to ensure the quality and realism of the exam.

The event was also attended by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Moamen Junaid Al-Dabouni, who expressed his deep appreciation for the university administration’s engagement with the educational process, emphasizing that such interaction reflects a strong commitment to preparing competent physicians who meet international accreditation standards.

This exam represents a milestone in the college’s journey, which continues to confidently advance toward strengthening academic quality and distinguished practical training.
