The Electronic Computing Center Holds a Training Workshop Entitled (Artificial Intelligence)

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Ninevah, Professor Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, and as part of the university’s community service mission and openness to government institutions, the Technical Training Unit at the Electronic Computing Center organized a training workshop for employees of Ninevah Governorate and its affiliated departments, entitled “Artificial Intelligence,” on Thursday, 4 December 2025.

The workshop lectures were delivered by:
• Dr. Balqees Talal Hassan – College of Information Technology
• Dr. Zaid Jasem Mohammed – College of Information Technology

The workshop addressed the importance of artificial intelligence, which has become one of the most influential technologies shaping the future of the world today. It is no longer merely a technical concept, but has evolved into a strategic tool integrated into various sectors such as education, health, security, industry, business management, and communication.

The workshop also focused on the role of artificial intelligence in high-speed data analysis, making accurate decisions, and reducing time and effort through smart automation. In addition, it reviewed key technical methods for protecting information and preventing data breaches or loss.

The workshop witnessed active discussions and contributions from participants, reflecting the interest of local institutions in developing their staff’s skills in modern digital fields.
