The event is supervised by the Dean of the Medical College, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mu’men Jneid Al-Dabouni, and attended by the Assistant to the University President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Jafar Ramadan Mohammed, and the Assistant to the University President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Amar Saadoun Hameed, along with a selection of faculty members and students.
In collaboration with the Psychological Guidance and Educational Counseling Unit, and the Family and Community Medicine Department, the College of Medicine, under the theme “Our Students’ Research… Visions Achieving Progress and Excellence,” held its seventh student conference on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Dr. Mazahim Al-Khayat Hall.
The conference comprised three scientific sessions led by a group of faculty members, presenting ten outstanding scientific research papers addressing various health issues across different specialties. These research papers were discussed, opening the floor for dialogue, answering inquiries, and addressing questions.
The University President and the Scientific Assistant praised the significance of these research studies, emphasized the need to submit their recommendations to health authorities and related departments for utilization. They expressed their wishes for our students’ continuous dedication and progress in serving our esteemed community.
