In a new accomplishment that supports the university’s vision of regional leadership and global excellence while embodying its mission of social responsibility, the University of Ninevah has secured membership in the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) program. This program includes 1,500 institutions from 120 countries worldwide.
The UNAI program focuses on global priorities, including promoting peace, human rights, sustainable development, and access to education for all.
The university’s membership in this program is a natural outcome of its educational programs and curricula, which equip students with knowledge and skills that serve the job market and sustainable development initiatives. Additionally, it reflects the university’s positive contributions through its graduates’ noble values and behaviors supporting peace, as well as its community services, awareness programs, and voluntary efforts aimed at benefiting societies.
This membership allows the University of Ninevah to join a global network of universities and academic institutions working together to support major humanitarian and scientific causes. It also enhances the university’s international standing and opens new horizons for academic and research collaboration with member universities worldwide.
On this occasion, the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, congratulated the members of the university council, staff, and students on this achievement, which reflects the university’s commitment to realizing its vision and strengthening its international position. He also praised the efforts of the university’s staff in raising the institution’s profile in all international forums.
