The University of Ninevah has made significant progress in the Times Higher Education Arab University Rankings (THE Arab University Rankings). This year, the university entered the ranking for the first time, placing among the top 90 public and private universities.

The ranking witnessed strong competition among Iraqi universities, whose participation has notably increased. The evaluation is based on five main performance pillars, as outlined in the official table provided by the ranking body.

The University of Ninevah’s Position in the Ranking:
• Rank 43 out of 90 Iraqi universities: placing the university in the top half of participating institutions.
• Rank 22 in Iraq in the Teaching Pillar: positioning the university within the top quarter nationally, driven by its outstanding faculty ratios, academic performance, and the distinguished results achieved in the ministry’s assessment examinations.

On this occasion, the President of the University of Ninevah, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, extended his congratulations to the University Council and its staff, praising the tremendous efforts made by the university’s teams in striving to achieve advanced positions in global rankings. He wished the university continued growth and progress.
