The University of Ninevah Holds a Workshop Titled “Good Governance”

Under the guidance of the President of the University of Ninevah, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, and in line with the university’s efforts to enhance the status of electronic governance and implement good governance practices across all its departments,

The Continuing Education Center at our university held a workshop titled “Good Governance” on Monday, October 28, 2024, at the College of Information Technology.

The workshop lecture was delivered by Mr. Mohammed Talal Mohammed, a lecturer at the College of Information Technology, who discussed the concept of good governance and its applications in governmental institutions, particularly educational ones. He highlighted the necessity of implementing good electronic governance and keeping pace with developments in this field due to its importance in facilitating and accelerating procedures, reducing bureaucracy and paperwork, as well as providing economic benefits and achieving transparency in all dealings.

The workshop was attended by a group of new faculty members and employees of the university. It aimed to enhance and develop the skills of the university’s staff in line with its aspirations for comprehensive digital transformation and the implementation of good governance across all departments.
