The President of the University of Ninevah, Professor Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, honored Assistant Lecturer Yazan Nafi Mahmoud from the University of Ninevah and researcher Zaid Abdul Nafi Saeed from the Northern Technical University, in recognition of their scientific efforts in preparing a study entitled:
“An Evaluative Study of Selected Projects in Nineveh Province According to International Standards.”
This recognition came following an official letter from the Ninevah Governorate Office, which included clear commendation of the study’s outcomes. The letter emphasized its practical benefit in evaluating projects and improving work mechanisms in line with internationally recognized standards, reflecting the significant role played by academic expertise in supporting governmental institutions.
During the ceremony, the University President affirmed that the University of Ninevah continues to strengthen its scientific presence in developmental issues and supports rigorous research that contributes to improving institutional performance and enhancing the quality of services provided to society. He also praised the researchers’ efforts and their excellence in presenting practical, science-based solutions.
This recognition underscores the university’s leading role in linking scientific research with real-world needs and reinforcing effective partnerships with state institutions to serve Ninevah Province.
