On Thursday, October 17, 2024, the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, honored Dr. Shaalan Mufleh Hadid, a specialist in otolaryngology and a faculty member at the College of Medicine, with a certificate of appreciation and the University of Ninevah Shield.
This recognition came in appreciation of his efforts in obtaining a specialization in skull base surgery, which is considered a unique specialty, making him the only surgeon in this field in Nineveh province. During the meeting, Al-Mashhadani urged the dean of the college to encourage its faculty to continue their academic and scientific journey, stressing the university’s support for all initiatives that contribute to the development of the scientific and academic capabilities of its staff.
