The University President Meets International Students Accepted Under the “Study in Iraq” Initiative

On Sunday, December 22, 2024, the President of the University of Ninevah, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, met with the international students accepted into the university under the “Study in Iraq” initiative.

The meeting was attended by the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Jaafar Ramadan Mohammed, the Director of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, Assistant Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Ahmed Salama, as well as members of the “Study in Iraq” program committee.

During the meeting, the university president welcomed the new students, expressing his happiness at their enrollment in the University of Ninevah, which continuously strives to provide a distinguished and diverse educational environment. He emphasized the university’s commitment to supporting international students and overcoming any challenges they might face during their studies. He also highlighted the importance of this initiative in strengthening cultural and academic exchange between Iraq and other countries.

At the end of the meeting, the university president encouraged the international students to dedicate themselves to academic excellence and knowledge acquisition. He affirmed that earning their degrees from the University of Ninevah would represent a significant achievement for both the students and the university. He also underscored their role as ambassadors of the university in their home countries after graduation, contributing to enhancing the university’s reputation internationally and paving the way for broader academic and cultural collaborations.
