Toward Health Legislation Keeping Pace with the Technological Revolution: Panel Discussion at the International Scientific Conference

As part of the activities of the International Scientific Conference of the College of Law, the scientific sessions of the conference were held today, Wednesday, 11 February 2026. A panel discussion brought together the deans of law colleges from the Universities of Nineveh, Mosul, Al-Noor, and Al-Hadbaa.

The session was chaired by Professor Dr. Qabas Hasan Awad from the University of Mosul, alongside Professor Dr. Zeina Ghanem Al-Obaidi, Dean of the College of Law at the University of Ninevah; Professor Dr. Abdulaziz Ramadan Ali, Dean of the College of Law at the University of Mosul; Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mustafa Ali, Dean of the College of Law and Political Science at Al-Noor University; Professor Dr. Hashim Mohammed Ahmed, Dean of the College of Law at Al-Hadbaa University; and Professor Dr. Anas Mahmoud Khalaf, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs at the College of Law, Al-Hamdaniya University.

The session focused on a critical topic: the role of health legislation in keeping pace with ongoing technological developments. Discussions explored ways to regulate the use of modern technologies in the healthcare sector, ensuring their deployment enhances the quality of health services while safeguarding patients’ rights within a balanced legal framework that aligns with scientific and technological advancements.

At the conclusion of the panel, the participating deans were honored with the conference shield and certificates of appreciation in recognition of their academic and administrative efforts, as well as their active contributions to the success of the conference and the promotion of academic cooperation among law colleges.
