As part of the University of Ninevah’s ongoing efforts to enhance digital awareness and develop technical skills, the Center for Continuing Education, in cooperation with the College of Information Technology, organized a specialized training course entitled “Fundamentals of Cybersecurity.”
The course will run for three days and has witnessed distinguished attendance and strong interaction from participants.
The lectures cover key topics related to data protection, modern digital threats, and methods of defense against cyberattacks, aiming to raise the competence of staff and students in addressing contemporary technological challenges.
The scientific content of the course was delivered under the supervision of a group of specialists:

• Asst. Lecturer Abdulrahman Tawfiq
• Asst. Lecturer Ali Khairi
The sessions were held in Prof. Dr. Khalil Sayyid Mar‘i Hall at the College of Information Technology. This initiative comes as part of a series of developmental programs adopted by the University’s Center for Continuing Education to keep pace with global advancements in information security and digital transformation.
