In alignment with the national tree-planting campaign launched by the Prime Minister and the Nineveh Provincial Council, and following the directives of our esteemed Ministry, the Agricultural Division of the Administrative Affairs Department at the University of Ninevah organized a large-scale tree-planting campaign on Thursday, October 24, 2024, in the gardens and corridors of the university and its surrounding areas.
The campaign was attended by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, members of the University Council, university professors, staff, and students. During the campaign, Al-Mashhadani expressed that the university has completed the tree-planting operations in all its formations and is preparing for a major campaign to green the university campus in the Al-Azbah area over vast areas after logistical preparations are made, with the aim of creating a more sustainable green university environment.
